Cafe: Where are we going ... What are we doing

Even as construction in the back room was proceeding the vision of a welcoming cafe prompted a revision of the original plan. Session has now approved a design with the cafe housed in the 'nursery', with new double doors opening into it just inside the entrance to Speer Hall. Windows in the double doors will provide a welcoming view into the cafe. Benches (redesigned pews) will provide seating on the wall opposite the doors as well as on the other two sides. The 'back room' will be converted into nursery space. All in all these modifications will make for a much improved Speer Hall

We are still on target in terms of budget and a date for starting our beta testing, when we will be trying out the new space as well as various configurations of computers and software.
