Cynthia was born and raised in Bethesda, Maryland.  She attended Moore College of Art and Design, where her interest in drawing and painting took forefront.

After graduating with a BFA degree, Cynthia worked in Graphic Design, Antiques and Architectural Salvage.  She also apprenticed with Washington D.C. mural artist Byron Peck.  Shortly thereafter, Cynthia branched out on her own in the decorative painting field.  She was commissioned by That’s Amore and Memphis Barbeque restaurants to provide decorative painting services for multiple locations throughout the DC area.  She also designed and painted murals and finishes in residences throughout the area.

Now married with two children, Cynthia divides her time between the Agricultural Reserve and the Adirondack Mountains.  She draws limitless inspiration from these beautiful surroundings and prefers to paint en plein air (on location).   If you would like to contact her, Cynthia can be reached at 240-338-2115.
